This is an experiment. Someone else recommended I do this, in fact, because the idea never crossed my mind until then. What’s happening in Hong Kong right now is extremely difficult to follow unless you’re already connected to a ‘firehose’ of information. A single protest, like 10/20, lasts up to nine hours and highlights both change and continuity.

The idea behind this is to offer regular updates for people “in the loop,” but don’t have time to drink from the Twitter firehose.
